I-287 Fully Reopens After Gasoline Tanker Fire

I-287 is now fully reopened after a fire broke out on a gasoline tanker in White Plains.

All lanes both ways were initially closed between Exit 9A (I-684) and Exit 9 (Hutchinson River Parkway) after the incident occurred just before 2 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 14, leading to the shutdown of the highway in both directions.

Westbound lanes reopened after about an hour.
